Peter Mills has over 20 years of insurance and reinsurance underwriting experience. Peter began his career in 1984 with Crum & Foster in New York as a Casualty Underwriter. In 1989, Peter was an Assistant Vice President with Gerling America responsible for global program business. In 1993, Peter joined XL Group as a Vice President in Bermuda. He transferred to Dublin in 1994 to take responsibility for Germany, Switzerland & Austria. In addition to this, Peter founded XL Europe’s Property book. In 1998, Peter joined GenRe Dublin as an Underwriting Manager of Finite Reinsurance activities. Peter is a Vice President with Tokio Millennium Re Ltd. responsible for the Group’s Specialty Reinsurance activities including Workers’ Compensation, Terrorism, Crop and Structured Products.
